Have you ever seen a bald eagle pick a fish out of the water close up? Do you know what is involved in catching that lobster that you’re hoping to order in the restaurant?

To have the above questions answered come to Donelda’s Puffin Boat Tours and hop aboard the Highland Lass Sail on this 2 1/2 hour narrated tour with Giant MacAskill’s’ grand nephew, Captain John MacAskill, with over 40 years’ experience.

The 45-foot partially enclosed vessel is equipped with a snack bar, mini gift shop , bar and head (toilet). Donelda, owner and operator, will tell you all about the history of the area that dates back to 1597, show you pictures and features of the birds that you’ll be seeing. We stop to feed bald eagles that fly out to our boat for fish. At the Islands, the boat slows as we go around and the different species of birds are pointed out to you.
